The entire reconstruction of the Cultural House is based on a new and more intensive use of the basement spaces in particular. All new spaces of the completion of the communication passage or garden terrace are not insulated, they serve only for communication. The walls of colored concrete, the glass elevator, the steel railings of the stairs and the concrete structures of the bridges and staircases create the new main facade of the cultural house.
The main hall of the Cultural House on the ground floor as well as the secondary halls with the kitchen in the basement are connected by a staircase and elevator. They are operationally complemented during larger social events. The extension of the communication passage created a separate entrance separate from the Municipal Office as well as a new space for a cloakroom.
The main hall gained recuperative ventilation through the reconstruction, which is integrated into the parametric cladding of the gallery railing. The slatted beech plywood railing cladding also acts as a sound diffuser, which is positively reflected in the acoustics of the hall space. It increases in volume parametrically in proportion to the changing size of the air-conditioning ducts on both sides of the gallery. The original parquet floor made of oak friezes was supplemented, sanded and impregnated in damaged areas. The original suspended ceiling made of aluminum cassettes was carefully dismantled, cleaned and reinstalled after installation work. The new luminaires are LED technology. The stage area in the stage was supplemented with modern sound and lighting technology as well as a central projection projector.
The secondary halls with the kitchen were located in areas with a higher clear height, which allowed for a more generous concept of forming the suspended ceilings. At the same time, both connected halls received recuperative ventilation. The halls are designed as a minimalist space with tiles in two shades of gray, white walls and shaped ceilings made of Obifon acoustic panels in a soft gray color. They are connected to a garden terrace with a wooden pergola along the newly created park.
