The design of the information center in the village of Hrušov connects tradition, community and contemporary design. The aim was to create a space that respects the original character of the building while offering a modern, functional and barrier-free environment for all visitors. The interior works with the contrast of original stone walls and new materials, such as oak wood and steel elements. The preserved imperfections of the building create an authentic atmosphere and refer to the history and identity of the village. Modern interventions complement the space and bring it a contemporary expression.

The ground floor serves as an information center with a space for relaxation, light refreshments and the presentation of local culture through souvenirs and traditional costumes. The design also includes spaces for traditional craft workshops and a kitchen for preparing regional dishes, thus supporting the preservation and sharing of local traditions.

The upper floor is designed as a flexible multifunctional space for cultural events, screenings, relaxation and community meetings. The dominant element is the central stair seating, which encourages social gatherings and creates a natural center of the space.

The design also includes an exterior terrace made of gabions and wooden planks. The terrace is designed in the form of walkable stairs, which naturally create places to sit and relax. Tables and chairs are placed in the larger areas created, making the exterior a continuation of the community space. An important part of the design is accessibility. The building is designed to be accessible to all users through a ramp, barrier-free toilets and open communication spaces.
