Hrušov Cultural Centre is a place where community life and tourism come together under one roof.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a modern information centre that serves as a connecting point between local residents and visitors to the village. The ground floor accommodates a workshop room designed for creative activities, lectures, and community events, complemented by a kitchen facility and supporting service spaces. Custom-designed stackable table bases made of a simple wooden structure were created for the information centre, allowing the space to be easily adapted to the changing needs of events, workshops, and community gatherings. The character of the interior is further enriched by a bespoke wall installation inspired by the traditional craft of basket weaving, reinterpreted through a contemporary design language that references local traditions and the cultural heritage of the region.

The focal point of the upper floor is a multifunctional hall with a stage, whose atmosphere is enhanced by an acoustic wall featuring a pattern inspired by traditional Hrušov embroidery. The space is designed to host concerts, theatre performances, village celebrations, as well as informal community gatherings.

The interior combines original materials, subtle neutral tones, and natural accents that reflect the character of the surrounding landscape. The flexible layout allows the spaces to continuously adapt to the evolving needs of the community. The result is not merely a building, but a new social hub for Hrušov—a place for experiences, encounters, and shared stories.
