Architectural and layout design of the interior

The main goal of the design was to create a full-fledged recreational home providing comfortable facilities for the whole family with an emphasis on sufficient storage capacity and efficient use of space. The building is designed with a total accommodation capacity of seven beds.

The majority of the interior equipment is designed in the form of atypical built-in furniture made to measure, which allows maximum adaptation to the layout and optimization of the use of the interior space. The material and color solution of the interior is based on the dominant use of white, applied not only to the final surfaces, but also to the recognized structural elements and raw materials, such as exposed concrete, masonry or existing ceiling structures. The expressive accent of the interior is the menthol color used on selected elements of equipment and details. The menthol color in combination with white is intended to reduce the temperature on hot days. The tread floor layers, staircase and worktops in the kitchen are designed from terrazzo material.

Layout

In the basement of the building, a boathouse and storage space have been restored to their original position. A kitchen was designed in one of the basement niches, which can be extended to the exterior, making it a central element of social events. There are handles around the perimeter of the kitchen that have a functional purpose. Thanks to the handles, the user can move the kitchen from any place without difficulty. A similar principle was also designed when closing the sliding gate in the form of slats.

On the first floor, there is an entrance hall, which forms the main communication hub of the building. From here, access is provided to the daily social area, the guest bedroom and the second floor via a clockwise staircase in the shape of the letter "L". Between the hall and the living area there is a communication corridor, from which the bedroom, bathroom and pantry are accessible. Through the pantry, there is then access to a separate toilet.

The living area is designed as an open space integrating the living room, dining room and kitchen. The main terrace and balcony are accessible directly from the living room and bedroom on this floor, which strengthens the connection between the interior and the exterior.

On the second floor above ground, there are two living rooms - a children's room and a bedroom. Both rooms have direct access to the balcony, which runs along part of the perimeter of the floor. In the central part of the floor, near the staircase, there is a bathroom and a technical room providing the operational facilities of the building. The dominant element of the master bedroom is an atypical bed made of oak wood together with an integrated spatial screen, placed in a central and compositionally symmetrical position of the room. The screen in mint color, divided by a regular square grid, fulfills several functions. On the side facing the bed, it hides folding bedside tables, which remain visually suppressed when closed and do not disturb the cleanliness of the space. On the opposite side, a wardrobe storage system is integrated into its structure.

The bedroom is designed as a glazed space with large-format glazed surfaces on three sides of the outer shell. This solution ensures a high level of daylighting of the interior and at the same time provides users with panoramic views of the surrounding lake environment, thereby enhancing the visual connection of the interior with the landscape.
