Kozmetický salón s pedikúrou sa nachádza v zrekonštruovanom objekte na Námestí sv. Anny 9 v Trenčíne.
Prízemný priestor nad úrovňou piazzety pred objektom je prístupný cez vstupné exteriérové schodisko. Otvára sa do ulice cez raster veľkých okien a prelamovanú fasádu s vápencovým obkladom.
Po vstupe sa ocitneme na recepcii, z ktorej je priamy prístup do všetkých miestností salónu.
Konceptom riešenia je vytvorenie jednej krivky vinúcej sa celým priestorom.
Táto sošná zvlnená stena svojimi meandrami pripomínajúcimi záhyby kože a krivky ľudského tela modeluje jednotlivé miestnosti a “vydlabáva” ich z objemu salónu.
Perforácie v nej sú otvormi do miestností. Majú slúžiť na prepúšťanie slnečného svetla hlbšie do dispozície a preto sú dvere do kozmetiky zo štruktúrovaného skla.
Veľký klenbový otvor do pedikúry je bez dverí a tým zväčšuje proporciu vstupných priestorov s recepciou.
Za plnými dverami ešte hlbšie v dispozícii sa nachádzajú sklad a toaleta.
Inšpirácia sa dotkla aj oblín masážneho kameňa gua-sha. Mäkkosť oblín, ale aj kontrast surovosti stropu, ktorého odhalenie zväčšilo svetlú výšku priestorom.
Liata polyuretánová podlaha a prirodzený vzhľad omietky bez ďalšej úpravy dodáva stenám farebnosť a podporuje mäkkosť celého priestoru.
V kontrastne oblých a hladkých stien je surovo opracovaný pôvodný železobetónový strop. V kombinácii s nábytkom na báze polymérov a precízne tvarovaných kovových prvkov vytvára kompaktný dojem.
Jednotlivé odtiene použitých materiálov môžu pripomínať rôzne typy a farby pleti. Veď je to práve pokožka, ktorá sa v týchto priestoroch necháva rozmaznávať.

The beauty salon with a pedicure service is located in a renovated building at Námestie sv. Anny 9 in Trenčín. The ground-level space, situated above the piazzetta in front of the building, is accessible via an exterior entrance staircase. It opens toward the street through a grid of large windows and a perforated facade clad in limestone. Upon entering, one arrives at the reception area, from which all rooms of the salon are directly accessible.
The design concept is based on the creation of a single flowing curve that winds through the entire space. This sculptural, undulating wall, with its meanders reminiscent of skin folds and the curves of the human body, shapes the individual rooms by “carving” them out from the volume of the salon. The perforations in the wall serve as openings into the rooms. They are meant to allow sunlight to penetrate deeper into the layout, which is why the doors to the cosmetic treatment area are made of textured glass. A large arched opening leading to the pedicure area has no door, thereby expanding the proportions of the entrance and reception area. Behind solid doors further into the layout are the storage room and the restroom. The design was also inspired by the curves of the gua-sha massage stone. The softness of the curves contrasts with the rawness of the exposed ceiling, whose unveiling increased the clear height of the space.
The poured polyurethane floor and the natural, untreated appearance of the plaster walls add subtle coloration and enhance the softness of the entire space. In contrast to the curved and smooth walls, the original reinforced concrete ceiling remains raw and roughly finished. Combined with polymer-based furniture and precisely crafted metal elements, the space gives a cohesive impression. The shades of the materials used may evoke different skin tones and types—fitting, as it is the skin that is pampered in this space.
