Our company Libre Interior Design had the honor of participating in the fascinating project of transforming an old movie theater into a modern restaurant. We designed and implemented an exciting restaurant space with an area of ​​approx. 47 m², thus responding to the investor's demand for more seating and space for breakfast buffets.
Although the project seemed simple at the beginning, during the implementation we encountered challenges that required a creative approach and flexibility. Tearing down the walls revealed the existence of a large electrical box that stood in our way. Although this hindered our plans, we managed to maintain the integrity of the design by redesigning the decorative wall that was central to our concept, using materials cut at special angles and illuminated by LEDs, we created a wall that not only served a practical purpose, but also referred to the charm of the surroundings.
When designing the interior, we used bright POTT lamps, which gave the restaurant a unique character. To complement our project, we decided on a carpet from the renowned designer Tom Dixon for the EGE brand. This unique rug matched our atmosphere and colors perfectly, while maintaining a nature and earth theme that perfectly aligned with the restaurant's vision. It is an honor for us that the investor appreciated our project and gave us great confidence, especially in the selection of suitable products, which further emphasizes the unique character of this restaurant.
